WOW Book Fiesta with Dianne White

WHO EATS ORANGE? A bunny? A chicken? Maybe you? This lively journey around the world explores the rainbow of colorful foods eaten by animals, from the familiar to the exotic.

In this workshop, author Dianne White will lead us in singing and mixing up an “orange stew,” making masks, writing poems or stories from the point of view of a favorite animal, and creating a rainbow of colorful foods.

Enjoy light refreshments, listen to read alouds and explore Dianne’s books. The University of Arizona BookStores will offer books for sale and autographing during this event. The workshop includes two free hours of professional development for teachers.

Free parking is available at the surface parking lot north of the intersection of First and Vine. Paid parking is available at the Second St. Garage next door to the College of Education. Located just off of the 2nd St. streetcar stop.

WOW Book Fiestas are not drop-off events. All children must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or accompanying adult at all times.
