A very creative young girl decides to answer her inquisitive grandmother’s questions about school by making portraits. A group of first grade students were somewhat stumped by a few of the similes, but enjoyed the unique and humorous portraits by author illustrator Hanoch Piven. Several first grade readers remarked that they liked the author’s inclusion of a grandma in the story and wondered, “…what will HER pictures look?!”
