Join us for a collaborative two-day working conference focused on sharing expertise and exploring resources for the design of story-based financial literacy lessons grounded in relevant real-world contexts. This conference will bring together educators and community partners to co-develop curriculum that positions students as active participants in financial decision-making.
Day 1 will center on sharing expertise and exploring children's literature and other curricular resources. Day 2 will feature conversations with local business owners and collaborative planning for future curriculum development. Teacher Participants will receive a $600 stipend, with parking and lunch provided both days. There will also be follow up opportunities, for an additional stipend, to review and provide feedback on developed lessons during the 26-27 academic year.
If you would like to share your expertise and collaborate with others to design meaningful financial literacy lessons for youth ages 10-12, we invite you to apply.
