This is one of those books that when you hear the title you immediately perk up and say “I remember reading that book! I loved it!” I haven’t read it since I was in elementary school several years ago, but I still remember it and encourage all children and even adults to read it.

I haven’t read this book in a long time but I remember it vividly. I feel that this book offers a great description of what the holocaust was like for a child. Although it is not as popular as the Diary of Anne Frank, I believe the content is just as strong.
