Crowdfund Campaign: To Be Continued

The success of this crowdfund campaign, to hit our fundraising goal and receive the challenge funds to cover our actual costs, means that we will continue to be able to distribute books, fly in authors who we otherwise couldn't afford, and reach out to connect to readers across the country. It also means so much to be able to tell the middle school and teen readers that the community -- YOU -- support their love of reading and attempts to connect with other readers and experiences through literature.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You haven't heard the last from us. We already launched season 5 of WOW Reads and issued the first issue of volume 3 of All WRAP'd Up! We are reading The Shark Prince and meeting the author, Malia Maunakea, reading our horror text set, meeting scholars on the topics we're reading, and prepping for the Tucson Festival of Books in March 2027 -- all before the end of 2026. We have big plans and more to share with you. Stay tuned!

We Can Promote Global Literature Together!

The Worlds of Words Reading Ambassador program is completely free for participants who receive books for themselves and books to share (with their school librarian, ELA/English teacher, other school entity or friends). If you would like to support this program, please make a gift on-line through the University of Arizona Foundation.

WOW Currents is a space to talk about forward-thinking trends in global children's and adolescent literature and how we use that literature with students. "Currents" is a play on words for trends and timeliness and the way we talk about social media. We encourage you to participate by leaving comments and sharing this post with your peers. To view our complete offerings of WOW Currents, please visit its archival stream.
