Teen Reading Ambassador Application • Worlds of Words

Applications for the Teen Reading Ambassador initiative is open for Fall/Spring 2025/26.

This program positions local teens as reading ambassadors in their own high schools. Worlds Of Words Teen Reading Ambassadors read books on a them, share their experience with peers and their community through a project and reflect on the process in an episode of the WOW Reads podcast. The Teen Reading Ambassador initiative is administered by the Worlds of Words Center in the University of Arizona College of Education. For more information, visit our ambassador page.

October 2025: Choice Project, 1 to 4 p.m.
November 2025: Lit Discussion, 1 to 4 p.m.
December 2025: Choice Project, 1 to 4 p.m.
Nothing in January
February 2026: Lit Discussion, 1 to 4 p.m.
March 2026: Tucson Festival of Books, TBD
April 2026: Read-A-Thon, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
May 2026: Certificate Presentation, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
