Mariana will introduce her new book and her process of writing this book, invite children to consider a gift they would give to a loved one, and answer questions.

Mariana Ríos Ramírez is a Mexican author living in South Carolina with her family and a rescue Chihuahua mix dog named Rogers. She loves writing books for children, especially stories about diversity, perseverance, friendship, and kindness. Besides writing, she’s passionate about photography.

Imagination Friday is co-sponsored by the Tucson Festival of Books and Worlds of Words, University of Arizona College of Education and occurs one Friday a month from 1 to 1:40 p.m. through December 2024 with a different author or illustrator each session.
