Bilingual Story Time with Ying Wang

Join us for a fun and engaging bilingual Mandarin-English story time led by Chinese Immersion teacher Ying Wang.

Ms. Wang will share stories about Mother’s day, the Dragon Boat Festival and Traditional Chinese toys. After the stories, kids and families are invited to participate in hands-on cultural activities!

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Center for East Asian Studies.


Ticketed parking is available in the Second St. Garage and metered parking is available on the street/surface level through the Passport Mobile Parking app. Worlds of Words Center is also located just off of the 2nd St. Modern Streetcar stop.

WOW Book Fiesta: CREATE Story Journey

Journey around the world with hands-on activities from our Global Story Boxes! There will be global centers around the collection featuring crafts from: American Indians from the Southwest, Caribbean, China, East Africa, France, Indian, Mexican American, Mexico, South Korea, Southwest, and West Africa. Free professional development is also available for teachers. Snacks will be provided!

Free parking is available at the surface parking lot north of the intersection of First and Vine. Paid parking is available at the Second St. Garage next door to the College of Education. Located just off of the 2nd St. streetcar stop.
