2. I like pirate diary because it has adventure, pirate attacks, and a life on a pirate ship in the words of a ten-year-old boy. I also like how the author sticks to reality. In other words, instead of it being a jolly old time with no work, the author really describes that life isn’t always perfect. The illustrations are another thing that caught my eye. Even though the book has whole page illustrations its still is a long and very, very interesting story. I can really relate to the boy in the story because he is close to me in age and is very brave. All in all, I advise the reader not to read this book aloud to a general audience of ten and under. For it contains some gory parts. I do really like this book and think is a fun book to read. It seems so real and not like some one made it up. THIS IS AN AWSOME BOOK!!!!!!!!
