Worlds of Words Use Policy: Room 453 and 455 • Arrangements must be made one week in advance. • Priority in scheduling will be given to groups or events that are using the collection. • Worlds of Words is open to the public from 9-5 Monday to Friday and 9-1 on Saturday (contingent upon the University of Arizona holiday schedule). Groups can use the space during those hours but the space must remain open for general use unless an exception has been approved by the WOW Director. • No one-time event keys can be checked out for Room 453. All use of Worlds of Words must be coordinated so that appropriate personnel are present. Room Use Responsibilities: • Return equipment/furniture to its original location and set-up. • If an event is catered, you are responsible for setting-up, meeting the caterers and arranging for pick-up immediately after the event. Regardless of when catering delivery occurs, you must be present to receive them. WOW cannot sign for any deliveries. Bring cups, utensils, plates, napkins and other disposable items you need for your event. • Whether your event is catered or you provide your own food and drinks, you are responsible for cleaning up the room any day of the week or weekend. Please bring cleaning supplies. For all food trash please take it outside to the big trash can outside Rm 453. Trash can is located on the same direction as the restroom area. • No housekeeping services are provided on weekends. You are responsible for bagging and depositing all trash in receptacles. • If the user leaves the room in an improper or messy condition, future use may be suspended. • For weekend and early morning or late evening events, building requests to unlock the doors should be arranged through AdAstra and with follow-up through UAPD. • Please have your group respect that there may be a simultaneous event occurring in the adjoining space at the same time. • Access to the Special Collections Room and the Studio are by appointment and require special arrangements. • Equipment or technology support can be requested with the IT staff via email at COE-TechSupport@email.arizona.edu or call (520) 626-8324 BY SELECTING A ROOM AND MAKING A REQUEST, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE WOW TERMS OF USE POLICIES.

Please provide us with a brief statement of purpose for visiting Worlds of Words. What do you hope to engage with/explore in our collection? What are the learning objectives for you and/or your students?

All requests will be reviewed on a number of factors including availability and purpose for collection use. If approved, patrons will receive an email with a contractual form. Once that is complete, the event is confirmed. Patron will arrive at the scheduled time. We strongly encourage wearing a mask, using the gel sanitizer upon entry, and safe distance between patrons.
