I loved this book so much when I was a child! This is an incredible picture book that includes fantastic illustrations, beautiful writing style, and just enough childlike whimsy to become a memorable favorite nearly instantly. I have such clear memories of sitting on the rug in school, having this story read to us. I miss those days! Wonderful book.
